TIMAG4058-01_1he weekend included a double header with the South Sound FC men playing Vancouver Victory FC next. After a hard-fought match, Vancouver walked away with a 2-1 victory, winning their first match against South Sound in Evergreen Premier League (EPLWA) history.

South Sound opened the scoring in the 20th minute. Derek “El Tigre” Johnson sent in a ball and JJ Schmeck put it past the Vancouver keeper. Vancouver leveled the match in the 38th minute with a goal from Quammie Dinnell off a pass from Timur Zhividze. The first half ended 1-1. That ended up being the winning goal as Vancouver took the match with a 2-1 win.

The first EPLWA match of the season brought in 148 fans. Thank you for all your support!
